About

He is Gemma's husband and Grover's father. He is a professional negotiator and a graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dave is a veteran and did a tour in Iraq. His mother Paula has a stereotypical views on black people, which was seen in the season 1 Thanksgiving episode. His father Lamar abandoned him when he was a child and reunited with Dave toward the end of season 5.
